Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet’s life.We have a veterinarian and multiple personnel on duty Monday – Saturday who are trained and equipped to handle emergency situations.
Emergencies can be things such as:
- Snail bait and rat bait poisoning, chocolate, grape and raisin toxicities
- Hit by car and other trauma
- Complications with labor and delivery
If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. We will do our best to provide you with the best information and services for your pet and situation. If your pets condition is beyond what we have the means to treat we will let you know right away and we will get you all the information you need to get your pet the best possible care.
If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to fit you in between scheduled appointments. Our receptionists will be able to set you up with a good time to come in and they can usually give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
